2023 Graduates Art Fair Wuhan, China Unveiled, Blue Moon Supports the Development of Arts for Youth for Ten Consecutive Years

On 21 March, the 2023 Graduates Art Fair Wuhan, China, backed by Blue Moon as its chief sponsor, was officially unveiled at Wuhan International Conference & Exhibition Center. As a renowned youth arts project in China, the introduction of the Graduates Art Fair in Wuhan has attracted great local attention and support, establishing itself as an annual youth arts event in the city.

Adhering to the original intention of nurturing the development of future creativity in China and supporting the development of culture and sports, Blue Moon has been the principal sponsor of the Graduates Art Fair for ten consecutive years since 2014. Graduates Art Fair Launched, Blue Moon Helps Young Artists Set Sail to Live Their Dreams

 

The 2023 Graduates Art Fair Wuhan, China, spans an exhibition area of 16,000 square metres and runs for six days, from 21 to 26 March. This year's fair encompasses nearly all existing fine art categories from art schools, including Chinese painting, oil painting and sculpture. It has received an enthusiastic response, with 5,662 art students and young artists from 365 domestic and foreign educational institutions submitting 31,861 works of art. Apart from the active participation of fine arts students from top art schools and comprehensive universities in China, the fair has also attracted students from national art academies in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Austria, the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, Korea, Japan, Australia and South Africa.

 

As the youngest driving force in the new generation of artists, participants born in the 80s and 90s made up 86.5% of the artists at the Art Fair, with 70% of them born in the 90s, establishing them as the backbone of the exhibition. Artists born after the millennial also experienced rapid growth, accounting for 16.7% of the exhibition and emerging as an unignorable new creative force. This reflects the distinctive characteristics of “Young, Contemporary, and Future” of the Graduates Art Fair.

Amid the Nationwide Sports Trend, Blue Moon and Graduates Art Fair Organize “Blue Action”

It has been reported that the “Blue Action” invited sports-themed submissions from children and young people aged 3-18, with 140 outstanding works selected for display. It also invited running maps from the public, which were re-created by the artists to a “running painting” art installation. The project was supported by the Music Broadcasting Department of Hubei Media Group and the Wuhan Teenager and Children’s Library, as well as enthusiastic responses from many local children’s art institutions in Wuhan. At present, the invitation of works by “Blue Action” has been concluded, and the exhibition has officially started. At this year's Graduates Art Fair, the audience may see the excellent sports-themed works, and interact with “running painting” art installation.

 

The "Blue Action - ‘Art’ Exercise for Everyone" public art project ingeniously combines popular art with the "sports for all" concept. By promoting this "art + sports" approach, the event aims to encourage people to participate in art activities through co-creation, offline interactions and other methods, allowing them to embrace a healthy life with sports, experience exercise at the complement of clean living, and radiate more positive energy through sports engagement.

 

Blue Moon Fulfills Its Corporate Social Responsibility by Actively Participating in Social Welfare Activities

 

As the old Chinese saying goes, "realization is the beginning of actions, and actions are the accomplishment of realization".
