The 15th Philanthropy Festival and 2025 ESG Summit took place in Beijing from 22 to 23 January 2026. Centered on the theme "[15 Years - A New Chapter of Shared Benefits]" (15年,共益新篇章), this year’s event commemorated the festival’s 15-year journey through a special gala, comprehensively showcasing its philanthropic achievements. More than 1,000 representatives from charities, businesses, academia, and the media joined both online and in person, alongside 200 prominent speakers and more than 300 highly engaged media outlets.

Established in 2011, the Philanthropy Festival is China's first festival named after "philanthropy" and which is jointly initiated by the country’s mainstream media. As the most renowned and influential annual event in the charity and ESG sectors, the Philanthropy Festival awards have attracted significant industry attention for their prestigious and impactful nature. This year, Blue Moon, a renowned household chemical brand, won the Responsible Brand of the Year award for the 11th consecutive year, thanks to its outstanding performance in insisting on promoting green development and actively fulfilling its social responsibilities.

Persists with green development Empower product innovation through technology
Today, against the backdrop of steadily progressing "dual carbon" targets, greening has become one of the development trends in the laundry industry. As a daily chemical company pursuing low-carbon development, Blue Moon continues to empower product innovation with technology and promote green transformation within the industry.
This is particularly evident in Blue Moon's "Supreme" product series. As a "Concentrate Plus" liquid laundry detergent, the active substance concentration of "Supreme" is as high as 47% - more than three times the national standard. In addition, its instant dissolution in water, low-foam formulation and easy rinsing properties make it ideally suited for the quick wash mode in washing machines. This not only helps save water and electricity, but also significantly reduces packaging materials and overall carbon emissions during the washing process. Additionally, its compact bottle design saves storage space and reduces transportation costs, making it very environmentally friendly.
According to the report, Compact Detergents in China - A Step Towards More Sustainable Laundry: A Life Cycle Assessment, issued by the China Cleaning Industry Association (CCIA), if all Chinese consumers were to use concentrated detergents, 1.7472 million tons of carbon dioxide and 8.567 billion kWh of electricity could be reduced during production and transportation, and decrease laundry wastewater by 2.4211 million tons. This means that the Supreme series not only improves consumers' washing efficiency, but also encourages more eco-friendly laundry habits, fostering a green lifestyle and aligning with China's "dual carbon" goals.
Blue Moon has also launched the innovative JingXiang Forming Body Wash in the personal care sector. The product features an easy-rinse formula with a scientifically balanced blend of specific surfactants that effectively remove dirt-encapsulating foam with just one rinse, enabling a "quick wash and quick rinse" experience that saves both water and time. Notably, JingXiang Foaming Body Wash also offers consumers a more relaxing and enjoyable bathing experience thanks to its "rich and creamy foam" that leaves skin "hydrated and moisturized", "without dryness or slipperiness after rinse".

This demonstrates that Blue Moon’s commitment to green development principles is consistently reflected in every detail of its products. According to its ESG report, as of December 31, 2024, Blue Moon has obtained China Environmental Labeling Certification for 49 products and China Green Product Certification for 29 products. Boasting substantial green achievements, Blue Moon was among the first batch of enterprises in the industry to gain China Green Product Certification.

For 25 years in a row, it has backed the "I'm a Little Health Angel" project, delivering cleanliness to millions of households with children. Blue Moon has also launched various public welfare projects, such as the "'Hands' for the Future" caring campaign, and the "Beautiful Countryside, Clean Families" initiative, safeguarding the health of countless families, contributing to a cleaner environment, and helping to create a better life for all.

Moreover, Blue Moon has given back to society through concrete actions: aiding the survivors of the Tai Po fire in Hong Kong, supporting the earthquake-stricken areas of Shigatse in Tibet, and contributing to flood relief efforts in Rongjiang, Guizhou.
For 11 consecutive years, Blue Moon has been honored with the Responsible Brand of the Year award at the Philanthropy Festival, demonstrating its commitment to corporate responsibility. Industry experts believe that by consistently adhering to green concepts and actively fulfilling its social responsibilities, Blue Moon has proved its role as a responsible corporate citizen in multiple dimensions, driving its own sustainable and high-quality development while also serving as an example for the industry.
Looking ahead, as a daily chemical company that is a trusted companion of countless families, Blue Moon will continue to focus on the small details of daily life, enhancing user experiences through innovative products, and fulfilling its vision: "To allow every family to enjoy a clean, healthy, comfortable, respectable, and delightful 'Blue Moon' lifestyle".
